Shiroishigawa is a permanent river in the northen Honshu (main island), Japan. The river supports wintering flocks of swans in the area of Oh'gawara Town in its middle basin (38°02'N, 140°44'E).
Swan flocks winter there from November to March every year:
Bewick's Swan Cygnus bewickii: 400-450
Whooper Swan C. cygnus: 100-150.
